Royal Life Saving Society - Australia has been conducting the Australian Pool Life Saving Championships since 1965 and is proudly recognised as one of the leading national Pool Lifesaving competitions worldwide and the original service provider of Pool Lifesaving Sport in Australia.
Each of the trophies presented at the Australian Pool Life Saving Championships have been named after a pivotal member of Royal Life Saving in Australia and the United Kingdom who helped to support and teach others the importance of aquatic rescue skills which we practice and compete in in Pool Lifesaving today.
