Keep Watch CPR Magnet
This handy CPR magnet has been designed as a mini CPR chart that can be hung on the fridge and consulted in case of emergency. It also features drowning prevention information and the four keep watch actions on the back. Contact your local Royal Life Saving branch to get a copy.
Keep Watch Designated Child Supervisor's Hat
Royal Life Saving has designed a KEEP WATCH DESIGNATED CHILD SUPERVISORS hat.
The sun smart hat makes it clearly visible to other adults who is supervising and identifies the responsible adult for children to alert if something goes wrong. Drowning occurs when one adult thinks another adult is supervising, this hat clearly identifies who is supervising.
The KEEP WATCH DESIGNATED CHILD SUPERVISORS hat is available through Royal Life Saving for $20 (includes GST) + Postage and handling. Please click here to purchase.
Keep Watch Party Pack
In 2006 Royal Life Saving developed a Keep Watch Party Pack as a great way to keep the kids entertained over the summer, while making sure that they are safe at the same time.
The pack contains a number of games that are fun and also help children to improve their swimming skills and a whistle to help run the games. It also has some tattoos for prizes, sun screen for the hot weather (it is water resistant but you need to reapply often), and safety information for you to keep your children safe.
Most importantly it contains the Keep Watch 'Designated Child Supervisor' Hat that lets the children (and other adults) know who is in charge.
The party pack is more than just a safety message. We want you and your children and their friends to have fun in the water this summer.
Keep Watch also supports the Home Pool Safety campaign. Download a home pool safety checklist from www.homepoolsafety.com.au.
