Eamon Sullivan, Olympic Swimmer and UNCLE TOBYS Ambassador, became the First Celebrity MasterChef, presenting his $50,000 charity prize money to Rob Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Life Saving at Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre on Thursday 26 Nov 2009.
Eamon has a soft spot in his heart for the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia. When he was a little tacker cyclying in the backyard he looked up at a plane in the sky and toppled head first into the pool.
His father saved him, but for some families the same accident results in tragedy.
The $50,000 will go towards the important work of Royal Life Saving in particular the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive Drowning Prevention Strategy.
