Royal Life Tas forms partnership with Active After-school Communities Program

AASCP

By forming this partnership RLST hopes to gain the following benefits:

*   Increased junior membership and possible creation of new junior teams/clubs through coordinated access to schools and primary school children.
*   Opportunities for RLST to apply for grants for new equipment to assist with the delivery of your sport/activity whilst supporting the AASC program.
*   Opportunities for RLST coaches to access FREE professional development through the Australian Sports Commission's Community Coach Training Program
*   Opportunity to gain payment for coaching through schools/OSHCS involved within the AASC program.
*   Exposure of Lifesaving as a Sport to primary school-aged children, their parents, school teachers and other local community members.
*   Increased number of volunteers, parents and athletes who can become trained coaches at through the FREE Community Coach Training Program.


AASC is a national program that provides primary-aged children with access to free, structured physical activity program in the after-school timeslot.
