Welcome to the Royal Life Saving Media Room

The media room has a range of resources designed to provide both members of the media and the general public with an understanding of the organisation and the water safety work it does. Royal Life Saving is the peak water safety body in Australia with the aim to prevent drowning deaths and incidents. The media plays an important role in helping Royal Life Saving educate the community on staying safe whenever they are in, on or around water. Drowning deaths occur all year round in a variety of water sources including swimming pools, bathtubs, dams, lakes, rivers, beaches and fish ponds so information on water safety is always relevant no matter what the season or location.
