Swim Kids Operation 10,000
Operation 10,000 launches this Sunday 5 February in Sydney and will be live for 10,000 minutes. Operation 10,000 has been developed by UNCLE TOBYS to help Royal Life Saving raise awareness and funds to provide FREE Swim & Survive lessons for 10,000 children who would otherwise miss out.

AUSTSWIM and Royal Life Saving Society - Australia are conducting a survey for Teachers of Swimming and Water Safety. By participating in this survey teachers will be commenting on the development of swimming and water safety skills of children and the content of Swimming and Water Safety Programs.

Royal Life Saving National Drowning Report 2011
Senator the Hon Mark Arbib, Minister for Sport launched the RLS National Drowning Report 2011 at Parliament House, Canberra. The report revealed that 315 people drowned in the past 12 months with drowning deaths at their highest level since 2003 having jumped by 11% when compared to the 5 year avg.
