Thirty newly arrived students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds are embarking on a two-week swimming and water safety program in Launceston, Tasmania, to develop practical skills and knowledge on how to stay safe in, on and around water, thanks to Royal Life Saving’s Move It AUS program.

Sixteen talented athletes have been named on the Royal Life Saving Society – Australia (RLSSA) Team to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Festival of Lifesaving in Leeds, UK from the 21st to 23rd November 2019. The Australian contingent will compete as part of the National and Development Teams’ competition in the Commonwealth Championships, and individually as part of the Lifesaving Challenge.
