The National Water Safety Quiz (NWSQ) website is operated in compliance with the Privacy Act 1998 (Commonwealth) Australia. Any information you submit through the Website will be dealt with in accordance with the ten National Privacy Principles set out in that Act.
When you use the NWSQ website, our system will record the following details for statistical purposes: name of school, class/year, residential postcode, age and State/Territory. Your first and last name are only collected for the certificate you can print when you complete the quiz and will not be used for any other purpose.
We will only use the information you have provided for the purposes for which the information was provided to us. We take steps to safeguard our systems to protect your information from misuse and loss. This website is operated by Royal Life Saving Society - Australia ("RLSSA") under the domain name http://www.watersafetyquiz.com.au/. Your use of the National Water Safety Quiz ("NWSQ") website is subject to the provisions below.
Participation in National Water Safety Quiz (NWSQ) is voluntary and you can withdraw from the quiz at any stage.
While we have made every effort to ensure all information provided is free from error, RLSSA does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information, graphics and materials on the NWSQ website or any third party web site linked to the NWSQ website ("Third Party Site"). While all effort is taken to ensure there are no viruses on the NWSQ website RLSSA does not guarantee that the NWSQ website or any Third Party Site will be free from viruses.
RLSSA is not responsible for the results of any action taken or not taken on the basis of any information on the NWSQ website, nor for any error or omission in that information.
