Bronze Medallion

The face to face course covers both theory and practical water components in water safety, survival, swimming, resuscitation and rescue. Participants must be a minimum age of 14 and be competent swimmers.
The skills developed through the Bronze Medallion will last a lifetime but techniques do change over time. To keep your qualification current, it is advised to regularly update your skills.
By achieving the Bronze Medallion, you will become part of the deep history of lifesaving. You will have achieved an international lifesaving standard and have a skill set which is highly sought after in the community, by employers, and which are either recommended or mandatory for many careers such as teaching, emergency services, outdoor education and the aquatics industry.
