As part of the Make the Right Call program, the Heart Beat Club 45+ is a free, practical first aid and CPR session designed specifically for adults. Whether you're spending time around water, caring for grandkids, or simply want to be prepared, this course gives you the confidence to act when it matters most.

How to Apply for a Grant

Who Can Apply?

Royal Life Saving WA invites applications from Western Australian community organisations to host FREE Heart Beat Club community education course. These sessions are specifically designed for adults who would like to learn more about how to respond in an emergency and refresh their resuscitation skills.

Participant Requirements:
The majority of participants should be over the age of 45 years. Applications from both metro and regional areas are welcome, with regional sessions dependent on local trainer availability.

Delivery Requirements

  • Each course requires at least 10 participants and can accommodate up to 20. Want to train a larger group? Get in touch to discuss your options.
  • Courses are held at your chosen venue. The grant covers course fees only—your organisation is responsible for any extra costs like venue hire or childcare.
  • Your organisation is responsible for promoting the course and managing registrations.
