Water Safety Week

Water Safety Week will start with a big splash on Sunday 19 September with events across the Territory.

Hundreds of Territorian families are expected to get in the swim for the week-long celebration.

From 9am-12pm on Sunday 19 September, there will be free entertainment at the Darwin Waterfront as Splashfest gets under way. Royal Life Saving favourite, Boof the Barra will be onsite with water safety tips, waterslides and splash bucket fun.

Throughout the week, there will be special events in Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs including pool life saving carnivals and stand up paddleboarding.

The week will close with special events on Saturday 25 September in Palmerston and Tennant Creek.
