Since 1905, more than 1.2 million Queenslander's have received their accreditation in one or more Royal Life Saving water safety programs. When you consider the current population of the Sunshine State, it is reassuring that almost one in every three Queenslander's has had the opportunity to experience the fun and fulfilment of a Royal Life Saving program.

Royal Life Saving Society - Queensland (RLSSQ) became incorporated in 1988 and has full charitable status.

RLSSQ celebrated the Centenary of Life Saving in Queensland in 2005 representing 100 years of active service to the communities throughout the Sunshine State.
