Facilitators-Instructors-Trainers
Find out how you can share your knowledge and expertise in water safety, personal survival, rescue and resuscitation to educate your community.

Royal Life Saving has been training Australians to be lifesavers for over 125 years and for many years we have been training and educating people to use the knowledge and skills that underpin lifesaving in a wide range of workplaces and community settings.

We offer a variety of awards and non-accredited programs – that is, outside the vocational education and training (VET) system – aimed at individuals or groups within the community. These awards can be gained progressively by people of all ages and abilities. The awards focus on educating the community on water safety, personal survival, rescue and resuscitation.

The programs and courses that support these awards are delivered by facilitators/instructors/trainers who are typically volunteer professionals eager to share their knowledge and experience and provide training that can foster a culture of safe enjoyment, minimise harm and save lives in an emergency situation.

All Royal Life Saving training is delivered in line with COVID safe requirements. Participant and trainer safety remains our number one priority.

Contact your local Royal Life Saving State and Territory Member Organisations (STMOs) to find out more about these courses and availability in your local area.

Note that Royal Life Saving Society – Australia National Office is NOT a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). All nationally recognised training is delivered by Royal Life Saving STMOs.
