Emerging Leaders Scholarship – 2025 NSW/ACT Diversity & Inclusion in Leisure Forum

Royal Life Saving Australia is pleased to offer 10 Emerging Leaders a scholarship which aims to support young professionals under the age of 35 to attend the 2025 NSW/ACT Diversity & Inclusion in Leisure Forum, to be held on Wednesday 19 November 2025 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The Forum is a collaborative initiative of the Belgravia Foundation, Aquatic and Recreation Institute (ARI NSW), Pride in Sport, Collective Leisure, Belgravia Leisure, AUSactive, Royal Life Saving Australia, and Australasian Leisure Management.

The Forum will showcase evidence-based practice that supports underrepresented groups to more fully engage with and benefit from aquatic, leisure, recreation and fitness environments. It provides a platform for learning, collaboration and the scaling of best practice approaches across organisations and communities.

Royal Life Saving Australia’s Emerging Leaders Scholarship aims to support the next generation of leaders to participate in these important conversations. It is intended for individuals whose employers would not otherwise be able to fund their attendance. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to learn, network, and bring new insights back into their workplaces and communities, strengthening efforts to create more inclusive, welcoming and accessible aquatic environments.

This initiative reflects Royal Life Saving Australia’s long-standing commitment to strengthening the aquatic industry, ensuring no one misses out on swimming and water safety education, and empowering communities to be safe around the water.
