Royal Life Saving Society – Australia is inviting multicultural community organisations, settlement services, councils, water safety groups, aquatic centres and swim schools, , swimming and lifesaving clubs, schools and universities and other prospective applicants to attend an upcoming WE SWIM Funding Opportunities Briefing and Q&A Session.
These interactive sessions will provide an overview of the WE SWIM Multicultural Community Water Safety Program funding opportunities, including eligibility, partnership requirements and the application process.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification about the funding streams and application requirements.
Questions are welcome and encouraged throughout the session.
WE SWIM is a national initiative designed to reduce drowning risk, remove barriers to swimming and water safety education, and build belonging for refugees, recently arrived migrants and broader multicultural communities.
Funding is available across five grant streams:
- Place-Based Partnerships
- Community Programs
- Pathfinder – Refugee Settlement
- Pathfinder – Ambassadors
- Pathfinder – Emerging Leaders
Two sessions are available:
